Leelanau Early Childhood Development Commission, Leland Township Library, and Parenting Communities are excited to announce that Miriam Pico will be leading a free, family-friendly class in the Munnecke Room at the library on Monday, May 20 from 5:00 to 6:30pm. Children and their families are invited to attend the class, which will combine music, mindfulness and yoga.

Miriam is a Traverse city-based, professional singer/songwriter and children’s yoga and mindfulness teacher. She regularly teaches children’s classes at the Old Art Building in Leland and at The Beat Lab in Traverse City and offers other family-centered programming in throughout the greater Grand Traverse community. Mindful + Musical with Miriam Pico was born out of her passion for providing safe, inclusive opportunities for all families to bond and to grow strong in body, heart and mind together.

This program is part of a monthly parenting series, which is presented by a partnership between Leelanau Early Childhood Development Commission, Leland Township Library and Parenting Communities. There is no cost to attend and healthy snacks will be provided.
